I can't believe that after all this while I'm still far from getting used to colouring with my tablet /rant

The ones at the top are the countries that used to make up USSR: Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia, Belarus and Ukraine. The ones at the bottom are the rest of the Eastern bloc. I was originally inspired to draw something on the East German 1953 revolution, the 1956 Hungarian revolution, Prague Spring and the rise of Solidarity in Poland. The unfamiliar four faces there, by the way, are Czechoslovakia--the girl is what would become the Czech Republic and the boy Slovakia--and Romania and Bulgaria.

I apologize for how Poland turned out. I can't seem to make up my mind how serious he should look!
